All of these things are good.

Tho none surpasses the Croatian breakfast:

Bacon. Eggs. Jalapeno peppers. Sparkling white wine.

Marvellous breakfast scenes
Ahhh ... memories of alcoholic breakfasts ...

I'm trying to remember which was best. Two litres of Rosso di Montalcino (each) and a loaf of dry bread? Or the lobster bisque and four pints of bitter at the Commercial in Uppermill, near Saddleworth?

Hash Browns are not of English origin so should not be on traditional English fry up. This should be:
Sausage,
Egg
Bacon
Bubble
Mushrooms
Beans
Grilled Fresh tomatoes (not tinned Italien)
Bread & Butter
Tea.

A very successful cafe owner I knew, once told me that to sell a good breakfast you needed good bacon, sausages and tea the rest could be rubbish but if those 3 were good your breakfast would sell. He retired a very rich man.

Fresh, grilled tomatoes are essential to the perfect fry-up. As is a fried tatie farl for those of us familiar with a Northern Irish brekker.

However, burgers, chips, and hash browns are merely evidence that Society has Gone To The Dogs.

I have been having fried pigeon breasts and fried bread lately. Also Frikadellen, sometimes in pitta bread with hummus. Not quite so greasy. In hotels, I go for scrambled egg on toast.
