Thank you very much.
:D

Any albums worth a listen?

There is only ONE album by The Pistols, Never Mind the Bollocks, which my mum went disco about when she found I had it in my bedroom.

When THIS was played on their one and only Top of The Pops appearance I thought it was Christmas Day

Silly Thing, was the PROFESSIONALS, Jones and Cook

HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN.

No it was "the Sex pistols" it was part of the Great rock and roll swindle LP, The cover was a pop corn box with The sex pistols on it! The Professionls were a band with Phil Lynott.

Listening to some of the John Peel tributes and old Festive 50's, at the time Anarchy in the UK was always Number 1 in the F50, but now I am not so sure.

Atmosphere had gained the upper hand as far as I recall before he went current year after JD swamped the vote

Phil Lynott joined them and were called THE GREEDIES and did that christmas song A MERRY JANGLE he was never in the professionals. I would never class silly thing as a Pistols song as it had neither Rotten, Matlock,
or even Sid involved on it, but thats just my take on it

Pretty vacant is my favourite of the four, mainly because of the riff at the start. Holidays in the sun had the best cover. All the songs are brilliant.

I stand corrected you are quite right... But silly thing, rightly or wrongly was sold as the sex pistols as was The biggest blow and the two Sid sung on, but as we know the horse was well on the way to dying after a good flogging by then !

Had the pleasure of seeing the Pistols at Brixton Academy in November 2007. They were older, fatter and obviously minus Vicious, but they still absolutely rocked and Lydon was at his sneering best.
