Near Brighton, MI; which itself is right next door to Detroit, which is unquestionably the worst city in the US - even worse than LA, and that’s saying something.Green Oak Township (someone will get this)

You can take the Chav out of Sussex, but ..... (wtf am I on about)Bit of a mean-spirited thread IMHO. Chavs just about everywhere in low-waged towns in 'leafy' Sussex. Overwhelmingly outnumbered by decent people in each of those towns tho eh?
Where do you live? I'll vote for there.Well ?
Which area will win the accolade of chaviest area in Sussex ?
Eastbourne and Worthing are both massively gentrified in the last few years because of exactly that reason. The average age in those towns must have plummeted.I'll have you know Worthing is hipster as f**k now that avocado eating, oat milk chugging, leftie bellends like me have moved here from Brighton.
It's simple. Catch the train to Newhaven Town, cross the line and it is right by the entrance to the station. You can then get straight back on the train without having to go into the High Street.Weirdly, I have this burning bucket-list desire to visit the Newhaven monument to legendary pastry chef on the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry Ho Chi Minh

Duly noted! It's simple. Catch the train to Newhaven Town, cross the line and it is right by the entrance to the station. You can then get straight back on the train without having to go into the High Street.
It is, although tongue in cheek. You can tell the people who have not been to the areas they are slating.Bit of a snobby thread.

Sorry, I just get tired of these threads sneering at various Sussex towns, or any other town for that matter. Some people have no choice where to live. We can't all live in Weybridge or Ascot.

We always take our students there - many don't believe us until they see it. I also recommend the Hillcrest Centre cafe.
Yes, I was wondering where you are setting your chaviness barSaid the person who lives in Birkenhead
It’s on West Quay by the marina isn’t it?It's simple. Catch the train to Newhaven Town, cross the line and it is right by the entrance to the station. You can then get straight back on the train without having to go into the High Street.

ActuallyWhy isn't Hove on the list?
