I don't think we've had an excellent game this season. A few good ones, Cardiff at home being the pick of the best, also Bolton and Charlton at home. Despite not winning, Watford and Bournemouth were two good away performances. (Leeds as well although I didn't see it).

As for the rest - oh dear. I am afraid we've been inept in more than a few. I admire Tony's optimism and hopefully our fortunes will improve soon . . . . . very soon.

We were EXCELLENT away at Leeds and Forest and at home to Cardiff. Pretty good home to Bolton.

The Charlton and Bournemouth matches were excellent GAMES, which is obviously not the same thing...

Cardiff home? Blimey, you're easily pleased. Several good saves from Marshall, but it was hardly what I'd call a good all round performance. If you compare that to some of Poyet's games, its like chalk and cheese.

Leeds I didn't go to so can't comment, same with Forest though I know people who went, who said it was ok nothing more.

Absolutely NO matches have we been EXCELLENT. We beat a poor Leeds fair enough good result and we DREW against Cardiff. If they are the games he's talking about then the criteria for excellent has changed dramatically.

Think Bloom must have been on the sherry when interviewed and got his words all mixed up! What he meant to say was "Average" :wrong:

I don't go to away games. Of the home games there have been some I'd call good, but our best home performances have frustrated me too much to view them as excellent.

I can't remember which games exactly but some of the games earlier in the season we played really well and would have won but for individual mistakes.
There has been periods in lots of games where we looked really good - but perhaps not the whole 90 mins.
Then we went through a lull, but I think the last few games we have looked good again. Except the 89 minute defending the other week - that was pretty grim.

And I also think it's been pretty entertaining football compared to last season.

I know there are some on here who deride all who express the slightest concern that all is not as it should be this season - but the blinkered blue-and-white tinted specs award for sheer delusion must go to the person who voted for Birmingham away!

A Palace fan taking the mick, perhaps?

Voted for Cardiff and Wigan in error, it should have been Cardiff and Bournemouth (in next tickbox.)

You and 15/16 other people think a game we gave away three shit goals in could be described as an "excellent performance"?

Have to say yes I thought it was an excellent performance despite the loss. I will however admit that due to child care commitments I have only seen two live games (Wigan/Cardiff Home) and Bournemouth match on Sky this season.

As soon as there's the SLIGHTEST hint of an improvement in form albeit VERY VERY slight, they have a fire king international break and the 'momentum' [if you can stretch that far], is lost!

Tony Bloom said he has seen some excellent Albion performances this season. Which games do you believe were excellent performances?

(You can choose more than one.)

Well Mr Bozza you certainly like to keep us on our toes. At a push...erm Cardiff.

We can choose more than one ? Now I know you are having a laugh, however ask this again in January.

If someone genuinely thought of that game which I very much doubt, I'm not sure 'blinkered' is the word. There might have been mind altering substances involved.
