Mid mid mid Sussex
No brown meat, no bones, no fuss.

Brown meat is the best part of an otherwise joyless bird.

Brown meat and bones ftw. Anyone that opts for breast over leg or thigh is a deviant.
I disagree. I don’t like meat on the bone.

Chicken is fairly bland though. It needs lots of gravy, sauces, seasoning, other trimmings to make it tasty.
I like a plump breast slathered in gravy.

People turn into morons over Christmas. Reminds me of some of the behaviour we saw during lock down.

And New Year’s Eve - I just wanna go to bed
I will be out on patrol. Funnily enough NYE is one of the calmer nights.
People have tickets for stuff and have usually organised lifts/taxis home.
Don’t really get that much trouble.
Would rather be at home or at friends though.

I have had some nice Christmas’s at one of my best friends’ houses. Nice and low key and calm.
Other than that, I’m always working.

Not this year though. And I’m relishing hunkering down for a day or two and forgetting it all.
