In serious trouble. There was only so long we could survive at Withdean, when you think about what we achieves between 1999 & 2010 it's quite amazing for a club with practically no resources playing in a charming in someways but totally impractical athletics stadium & training on university playing fields with no facilities.

Anyone who feels negative about the Albion now, just think how far this club has come in the past 5 years, it's astounding.

My guess is we'd be in the top 10 aiming for promotion in League 1 having built a much cheaper stadium, something like Colchester which is 10,000 seater at £16m cost, with potential to expand to 18,000 - we might have even done a Yeovil or Brentford and be slightly above in the table where we are now

Yep my thoughts as well. We could have started at Falmer with just an East Stand with temporary terraces surrounding. We can even look at how well Bournemouth are doing with just 13k gates.

Well, presumably many of the new ST holders do? It's unlikely that "new" fans will get on particularly well with "old" fans though. The two groups have radically different expectations of what they want from being an attending fan. It seems pretty clear to me from the club's actions and marketing messages which group of fans they are prepared to jettison if they have to. No doubt they'd prefer to keep both if possible, but, if not, they seem to prefer "new" over "old". This could be driven by financial considerations (at a guess, "new" fans will spend more money on the peripheral stuff than "old" fans would), but could also be a consequence of TB's preference. Why build a stadium with padded seats if your target market are "old" fans?

mmmmmmmm, some of those older fans have brought their kids up on old ideals at football, also there's a lot of older ST holders i believe, anyway will be interesting to see how it all pans out over the course of the season

Whats the criteria regarding paying back the loan? Any time schedule written in?:moo:

All loan notes will have a repayment schedule written into them. All we know about the loans from TB are that they were repayable in "more than one year" in June 2013 (and in June 2012 too), which is all that is required to be disclosed in the Accounts.

The club and TB can agree to change the term of the loan notes by mutual agreement.

The fact that he's converted a whole chunk into equity (which is, of course, not repayable) would suggest that he's currently not too bothered about getting all of his cash back as he'd have left them as loans...

Well, Crawley have no money whatsoever, have crowds of 2,000 and are 13th in League 1.

I think League 1 must be the percentage call
