Agreed, there are some on here who prefer the old days when it was their club that they had saved and seem to resent the progress made post TB. Each to their own though.
Someone owes someone 200 million

IT IS BUT IS IT ALL POSITIVE ,football in General has created a NEW FAN, how many people want to be a new fanIn serious trouble. There was only so long we could survive at Withdean, when you think about what we achieves between 1999 & 2010 it's quite amazing for a club with practically no resources playing in a charming in someways but totally impractical athletics stadium & training on university playing fields with no facilities.
Anyone who feels negative about the Albion now, just think how far this club has come in the past 5 years, it's astounding.
PROBABLY COVER IT IN OTHER WAYS, let's keep it realHes already written it off in my opinion, he knows he will never get anywhere near that money back, if anything.
Bloody legend
My guess is we'd be in the top 10 aiming for promotion in League 1 having built a much cheaper stadium, something like Colchester which is 10,000 seater at £16m cost, with potential to expand to 18,000 - we might have even done a Yeovil or Brentford and be slightly above in the table where we are now

Is the whole 200 million an interest free loan?Hes already written it off in my opinion, he knows he will never get anywhere near that money back, if anything.

Is the whole 200 million an interest free loan?
apart from that chunk already converted into shares, yes. There is no dividend paid on the shares either since dividends, by law, can only be paid out of profits (what are they?!)
mmmmmmmm, some of those older fans have brought their kids up on old ideals at football, also there's a lot of older ST holders i believe, anyway will be interesting to see how it all pans out over the course of the seasonWell, presumably many of the new ST holders do? It's unlikely that "new" fans will get on particularly well with "old" fans though. The two groups have radically different expectations of what they want from being an attending fan. It seems pretty clear to me from the club's actions and marketing messages which group of fans they are prepared to jettison if they have to. No doubt they'd prefer to keep both if possible, but, if not, they seem to prefer "new" over "old". This could be driven by financial considerations (at a guess, "new" fans will spend more money on the peripheral stuff than "old" fans would), but could also be a consequence of TB's preference. Why build a stadium with padded seats if your target market are "old" fans?
The closest piece of France to Brighton is over 70 miles... and Creepy is c20 miles...
Whats the criteria regarding paying back the loan? Any time schedule written in?
No chance would of got to the Amex.
Would be at Withdean and in trouble financially. Doubt would of got to the championship and i reckon would be struggling L2
really, HOW COULD ANYONE ONE FORGET ABOUT CRAWLEYSorry forgot about Crawley, very easily done.
How much has been converted into shares. All loan notes will have a repayment schedule written into them. All we know about the loans from TB are that they were repayable in "more than one year" in June 2013 (and in June 2012 too), which is all that is required to be disclosed in the Accounts.
The club and TB can agree to change the term of the loan notes by mutual agreement.
The fact that he's converted a whole chunk into equity (which is, of course, not repayable) would suggest that he's currently not too bothered about getting all of his cash back as he'd have left them as loans...
