Not true as i understand Waitrose are coming with a late bid and they are much classier store...

Surely as he's been out so long he'll be on statutory sick pay, my bet is Lidl's or Aldis

What a waste of wages, and to think I got slaughtered on here about this time last year because I suggested that we should cut his contract short.

He is on a pay per play contract.

I very much doubt that ... where did you get your info? I wouldn't be surprised if there were appearance bonuses but that's all.

My view is he's "on strike" until someone waves the white flag and lets him go home

If he plays just ONE game - at Selhurst Park in a few weeks - and wins the match on his own, scoring a wonder goal during which he beats Zaha twice on his way, then as far as I'm concerned we can pay his wages to sit on his arse for the rest of the season.

There. That;s not too much to ask is it?

Unfortunately I think that they answer may be yes.

I've also lost interest and don't expect to see him in a Brighton shirt ever again.
I haven't lost interest - he was the greatest flairniac I think I've ever seen in the stripes. But I do agree that we'll never see him again and suspect this situation will prove to be a shambles as he's tying up the wages of that promotion winning striker we all know we need.

He is on a pay per play contract.

He definitely did not! He said himself he took a massive wage cut when we announced the signing on him and Gus even joked that he didn't damage the chairmans wallet as much as we hoped. When the injuries kept on reoccuring last season Gus said it's frustrating, especially money wise.

Why else would Gus do the money grabbing sign after a Vicente double against Pompey last season!?
