On a park bench in a graveyard after taking a short cut through it after a party.
I even took my shoes off and placed them together on the floor in front of it.

1/ In my Alfa 155 on the A23 going south near Bridges scrapyard. Unfortunately I was driving, luckily it was only for a split second and I pulled into the layby just past the houses and had a nap for an hour or so.

2/ On a bench on a cross channel Townsend Thoresen ferry during a ridiculously rough crossing. There was puke ebbing and flowing across all and any flat surface and everyone was trying to kip anywhere to escape the nausea. I woke to find one hand and one sleeve cuff covered in sick where my arm had flopped down to the floor.

Slept in a hotel that was a jail in the past where they hung murderers. You could see where the iron bars were in the windows and on the front of the hotel they had infact left the bars there.

Very large flowerpot at Manchester Picadilly Station after clubbing at The Hacienda about 1989. Kicked "awake" every hour or two by a rather annoying policeman, although I'm not sure I actually really slept

A friend an I slept on the floor in Kyoto central station next to a porn vending machine. Ran out of time to find a hotel, and besides we had had a few. A female tramp gave up her bench to me, and offered me some Saki in a brown paper bag - politely declined. Kept getting woken by pissed Japanese business men trying to get a mag and get home in the early hours.......happy days:)

There’s been a few strange places but one of the crappest was the tunnel between platforms at Three Bridges station after I missed the last train home.
