His agent has come out and said, as of Wendesday, there is no truth in the reports linking him to Man U & Chelsea:

He's currently visiting the Empire State building according to a neighbour who saw him (alright, that was on Monday).

Man Utd agree 55m fee with Chelsea for Mount...
Good. We’ll have that on top of the offer they were making then.

Well no wonder we can't sell him.

Brighton set Manchester United & Chelsea NEW asking price for Moises Caicedo

https://metro.co.uk/2023/06/29/brighton-demand-100m-for-manchester-united-and-chelsea-target-moises-caicedo-19036703/#:~:text=Brighton%20have%20set%20an%20increased,that%20he's%20available%20for%20transfer.

Apparently TB and PBOBE keep on changing their minds about how much we want for him

We know this is made up nonsense as TB is a gambler and would never reveal his hand! I’m growing tired of the behaviour of some of these “big” clubs and they way they think they can manipulate others!

So what happens if Chelsea only bid £65 million?

You think we will sell for that ?
No other clubs will step in with larger fees

Honestly cannot understand anyone who thinks Moises will be a Brighton player next season.

Stop torturing yourselves.
Similarly, that Chelsea would allow Colwill, their prized England CB of the next dozen years, to depart.

Leading to much angst and disappointment.

Instead, go with the TB/PB flow.

Caicedo’s bound by a long contract, we wouldn’t sell at that price. Rice £105m sets the benchmark.

The “player’s hold all the power these days” adage is overly simplistic and exaggerated. Ask Kane and Zaha, they failed to escape when they tried.

They’re clearing the decks to ensure they have the required amount. They might try a cheeky bid to try their luck but they’ll know how much is needed to get what they want. Simple.
