Ok thanks for that pinocchioFor what it’s worth.
Sat very close to Tony Bloom at Lords this afternoon and overheard him talking to the group he was socialising with:
Caceido has reiterated his desire to leave the club in recent weeks.
TB values him at between £120-140m due his age and potential.
Unless that valuation is met he has no desire or willingness to sell. More than happy to keep him for a further season where he only sees his value increasing.
No offers on the table as of 3pm this afternoon but he’s expecting contact from Chelsea by the end of the week.
Also spoke about Saudi influence in the PL and his exact words were ‘they could offer me a Trillion dollars and I wouldn’t sell the Albion.’
How the hell would they know! The Guardian saying £80 million should be enough for Caicedo - hope they are wrong on this one.
Chelsea close on Caicedo and keen to sell Mount to Manchester United
Chelsea are making progress in their pursuit of Brighton’s Moisés Caicedo and are keen to find a resolution with Manchester United over the sale of Mason Mountwww.theguardian.com
I predict it’ll be ‘undisclosed’despite the bonkers price for inferior Rice, i predict Caceido will go for a lot less and there will be utter meltdown here when it happens. if he really wants to leave they wont hold out for top dollar if a decent offer is available, rather that or have a disgruntled player, or break the wage structure to keep him happy here.
It wouldn't suprise meI predict it’ll be ‘undisclosed’
They were at the cricket today too?How the hell would they know!
Does seem very unlikely that someone who supposedly keeps his cards so closely to his chest would be openly mouthing off like that at the cricket.Believable imagination.

That would place him in the top five most expensive transfers of all time. He's a very good player, but even £100m is a coup for us.For what it’s worth.

Possibly just leverage to get Mount from Chelsea?Sky Sports reporting United about to enter the auction
Arsenal might come back too. Although their FFP situation is very interesting, I don’t know how they are getting round it with all these signings.Chelsea and Man U bidding off each other gives us the best hope to push up the price as far as possible.
different situations though. Mac had an agreement that we would negotiate at a certain level. Moises agent has confirmed no such mechanism hereRemember all the chat about Alexis being valued at £70m? Wouldn’t be surprised if Moises left for £60m
