Agreed. Chelsea don’t just get to finish top four because of their name. They’ve an overstuffed first team, FFP problems, a clueless owner and a severe lack of confidence.

The Premier League has Man City, Arsenal, a resurgent Man U, a Saudi funded Newcastle and Liverpool. Europe might kill us or Villa but probably not both. Brentford could easily repeat last season and there will be a break out surprise.

At this stage, short Chelsea odds represent hopeful punts from their plastic muppets.

I don’t even think Poch is that great a coach. Watching his Spurs struggle against a Brighton side containing Aaron Connolly was illuminating

With Liverpool picking up MacAllister and Spurs Maddison, Man Utd will not want to be left behind either but haven't offloaded anyone yet and that could take time.

Indeed, when you look at that Man Utd squad they over-achieved last season and look well short of mounting a title challenge. They need to start getting their shit together. For me, Caicedo walks into that side, even if they sign Mount.

Sat very close to Tony Bloom at Lords this afternoon and overheard him talking to the group he was socialising with:

Caceido has reiterated his desire to leave the club in recent weeks.

TB values him at between £120-140m due his age and potential.

Unless that valuation is met he has no desire or willingness to sell. More than happy to keep him for a further season where he only sees his value increasing.

No offers on the table as of 3pm this afternoon but he’s expecting contact from Chelsea by the end of the week.

Also spoke about Saudi influence in the PL and his exact words were ‘they could offer me a Trillion dollars and I wouldn’t sell the Albion.’

I think that's the twentieth story from Jacob Steinberg about Caicedo going to Chelski Cowboys. He seems to be the clubs mouth piece. Tiring. Nothing of any note in that article.

That said, I would absolutely hate for Mosies to join Chelsea. He could do so much better and as amazing as he is there's no guarantee he'll shine as much for them. I also absolutely believe that RDZ is a better manager than Pochettino. The same Pochittino whose Tottenham team lost 3-0 to a Brighton team containing Connelly, Propper and Bong. Not on the same level as RDZ imo right now. Money talks aye.

As long as we get a massive pile of cash I don’t really care, far more interested in what we do with it. Very, very few of our players are ever more than transient employees. When anyone refers to a player as ‘irreplaceable’ I always have a little chuckle. They are all replaceable , and usually upgraded.
