That Brentford fan is REALLY going for Romano.

They spoke by phone. 9min conversation.... which Brentford guy posted on Twitter. 😬

Now deleted, but copied across the net.

Neither of them come out of that recording looking great. It's all just very bizarre.

Fabrizio Romano, with his 15.8 million followers, is not going to stop tweeting about Brighton and Brentford players because it upsets their fans.

I struggle to understand why people get so worked up, it really isn't hard to ignore the shysters and pay attention to reliable journalists...

That Brentford fan asked Romano's permission to record the call I assume ? It is illegal to share a recorded phone call in the UK without the other party's consent.

In normal life it is easy, however on NSC you can't go a day without some plank posting one his tweets on an otherwise interesting thread.

I dont mind him playing his ITK tricks for the twatter folk as long as it is left on twatter.

Its mental that the cost of the Amex (£93m wasnt it??) could be covered by one transfer.
Yep, more than mental, considering the desperate need for funds in other areas of society its quite obscene. Football has always attracted big money but it really is out of control now. We sell a player for 35 million and everyone is shocked at how cheap his contract went for. Yet, as an example, we have thousands of time bombs on our hands in the shape of WW2 ship wrecks (a large number of them tankers) that are rusting out and starting to leak their oil, most countries are ignoring the problem because of the high cost to remove the oil, but private enterprise and individuals have the ability to spend eyewatering amounts on young blokes who are good at kicking an inflated bladder around.

“£100m is too much, it’s way too much. This is a player who has had one full season in the Premier League.

“It’s absolutely outrageous that you would be spending £100m on a player that two years ago, you could have bought for £4m.”

In that case we’ll just keep hold of him for another season while his transfer value increases then.

They're not paying for his 1 season past. They're paying for his many seasons future.

Once Cucurella'd twice shy?

Worthing
I think he's vastly overrated, and he seems to have gummed up the midfield transfer market too. Once the rice blockage clears we are bound to see some moises action.
Still waiting for Caicedo to give him permission to leave his pocket after the last game against West Ham…….,, and the previous one come to think of it.
