Where is Moises going?

Clear as mud but you'd guess Chelsea will cough up the cash eventually. Liverpool got a small taste of what we've had to put up with this year, he's got to go really now

Ive stuck by Moises through all this but this has become a total farce and it's all on him. We still get paid either way and if he does go to Chelsea then at least weve got 25% more than they want to pay but they have shown what an utter shambles they are.
I am a little concerned for Moises now, he is clearly being manipulated by his agents and doesn't appear to be bright enough to recognise it. I just hope that there is nothing more sinister going on. It was only a few days ago that the club stated that they did not have any issues with Caicedo's conduct and he was as good as gold after the January shenanigans.

He admitted Sanchez downed tools so why lie about another player? RDZ also said the same so is he a liar too?
Why would Paul protect him?
Mate the club and Paul literally protected Moises in January for doing the exact same thing. He did that bs statement and publicly said he wants to leave and the club still protected him by saying he's a nice guy

Hope we flat out refuse to speak with Chelsea. They lost the auction and sounds like they have been using underhand tactics AGAIN in ringing his agent promising him a shitload more cash to stop him signing for Liverpool.
this was my understanding. the report on SSN mentioned that to overcome this, and for Moises to move to Chelsea, Brighton would need to renege on the deadline we mandated. We might not wish to do so for the clause possibly provided ahead of the "auction"- "midnight deadline as we'd like to focus on the start of the season now".

So in order to open the market up again (to Chelsea) we may apply a premium.

I actually think its zero chance of him going to Liverpool and 50/50 that he goes to Chelsea/stays with us. It comes down to how much pain we want to put Chelsea through.

No, not the most money - the best deal. At least, that's what a good agent does. Whilst money is important, more money alone does not always equal the best deal.

He can’t go to Liverpool now, their fans won’t take him saying in public he wants to go to Chelsea
That's a very good point. If Chelsea don't stump up the £110 he's staying with us or going to Liverpool. Seemingly goes to Liverpool but under duress just how much pressure will he be under and forgiving will his their fans be if he doesn't perform?

What we can conclude is that he's very naive and his agent is a complete joke!

tricky one

Where will he win more trophies

last 5 years
LFC - 4 trophies / 1 losing finalist

CFC - 2 trophies / 5 losing finalists

Add London + wages and could see why CFC seems better deal to a player

Don't agree with this. We will allow Chelsea to match the bid, it's just business.

We won't sell for less though. So will be hilarious if Chelsea refuse to up their bid.

What's London got to do with it? Bit of a dump, much of it. Liverpool's fine - and some lovely places to live in the country a few miles away. Cheaper than the equivalent in London too.

And those Chelsea stats - were all achieved before Abramovich was booted out - different club these days.

Totally defeats the purpose of having an auction though. They can't just come in and match Liverpool's bid after the fact, they're going to have to bid above £110m surely.

Him staying with us could end up being the nightmare scenario now...

Yeah what’s the point in a deadline if you allow exceptions. It just kicks the can down the road.

I think he'll be all smiles holding up the Liverpool shirt before the end of the weekend, if not by the end of today. The stuff coming from his agents through Romano, some of it seemingly not completely true, looks to be the last desperate shots of the defeated. Chelsea have not said a word and it'll dawn on the agents soon that need to stop twisting and stick if they're going to get what will be a huge payout, allbeit a less valuable one than they had banked on.
