What a wanker ???

Every interview I have seen with Moises, he comes across as very shy, very young, possibly immature and lacking confidence when not on the football field. When compared to AliMac who was mature waay beyond his years, the difference is absolutely staggering.

For this reason, I can imagine him being easily influenced by those around him and, if we have had to do what we did in January, and give him time off, I have no problem with it. Because if TB's fee isn't reached, I believe those exact same characteristics will have him back to his best in no time when those around him are Dunk, Lallana, Welbz etc

Not forgetting James Milner, who has the added advantage of being a Spanish-speaker

And Calde who made the mistake of thinking contracts were like Spanish contracts when he spoke to Southampton. Many fans called him a traitor then.

What's he actually done? Put in a transfer request in January, posted a farewell message on instagram thanking us for allowing his "dream move", stopped turning up at training in the last transfer window and got a little talking to from the Ecuador captain for the way he was handling it.

This window? Whether we know the details or not, his agents are pushing the narrative that he doesn't want to be here and wants to move. Who do you think is driving that behaviour? Surely at some point he has to take a little accountability for the way his employees conduct themselves in his name?

If he plays on Saturday, then I will eat my (proverbial) hat. I'm not guessing at what he's done, I'm judging him on how he's behaved over the last two windows. Last window, he behaved like a brat. This window, fair enough, he's yet to show his hand so until he does I retract and if he plays on Saturday, like every ALbion player (except Leon Best and Chuba Akpom) he will have my full support for what that's worth.
Lol, all he did in January is allow his agents access to his Instagram. It was the club that told him to take the week off. Then he came back, played very well and helped us get 6th spot.

If he has 3 weeks off this time and then we get him playing well for 4 months then that is worth it.

Now cucu, tross and sanchez all did act like brats, so maybe just be angry at them instead? Plenty for you to get your teeth into there.

This is beginning to sound like my regular NHS resource meeting.
Brighton do have a price they will accept however it’s confidential.
Chelsea, know how much that is as they keep upping their price.
Time will shortly run out, if chelsea do not pay Brighton’s asking price and that will be that until January.
Then, depending on where both clubs sit in the table, round two will begin until an agreement is reached or not.
Put the kettle on…..

Had the privilege of speaking at Seagulls Over London last night, clearly the demographic in the room was on average well over 50 something long time Albion fans but the consensus of opinion was it was time to get rid, even if it meant just getting under the alleged asking price.

Which just goes to show that all the underhand agent stuff and leaking to the press and not turning up for training works an absolute treat if a player wants to move; much easier than actually making an improved offer. Getting the fans against you makes it easier for the board to accept the lower offer.

Our board are standing firm, and we as fans should be standing firm as well, to be happy to keep the player if the required offer isn't met.

I'm not angry about any of them, just under no illusions that although it's very comforting to cuddle into the fallacy that it's all the nasty agents and their employer is some innocent bystander, it is very much driven by the player's wish.

Chelsea didn't help themselves by making a bid we'd already turned down from Arsenal before Moises had signed a new contract. Trying to get something on the cheap isn't going to work.

And this time around he's done a couple of interviews where he's made it clear he'd be happy to stay with us if the transfer doesn't happen. Personally, I think the "unhappy player" rumours are being massively overblown and are primarily sourced from people with a vested interest in forcing through the transfer. I think Caicedo would *prefer* the move to Chelsea but would also be happy to stick around for another season and get some Europa League experience in place before a big move next season (when there might be even better options than Chelsea on the table).

Caicedo has another stand out season with us, shines in Europa, he'll have his pick of top table teams. The risk for us is that the too-big-to-refuse offers come in during January and he goes with half the season still to play.

Why can’t people accept that Moises may well be desperate to leave and isn’t having his head turned by evil agents. What’s so hard to believe about that?

I can’t understand why so many people are trying to find another narrative. “Agents using his social media”, “confused Moises”, “leaks to the media”, “heads been turned” etc etc. no evidence of this whatsoever.

He wants out. End of!

Have you ever watched any of the documentaries on Agents? Agents work for one person, themselves. They will whore the players on their books at any opportunity.

Chelsea didn't contact him first, his agent would have put the proposal to him. They are the driver, the problem he has, his are driving on the wrong side of the road as proved in Jan.

I just love the fact that 'little old Brighton' are playing hard ball to the 'entitled' Chelsea. It's providing so much amusement watching their you tubers wet their pants over this one possible transfer!

Screw them for every penny then let them bust FFP for the 3rd time.

Contrary to his interview then a few weeks ago.

As I said, that's very comforting to think that way. I just disagree

I have now read your article and while I respect your impeccable credentials as an Albion supporter, I thought it was pure drivel...... and I think I am right in saying that your most recent prediction that Albion had a good chance to keep Colwill didn't go very well either...
