Is it the title that they want, which is easy to implement, or is it all about the money? For my three, it's the cash, with a sprinkling of believing that they know better than senior management after a whole 12 months of real-world experience.

I've already suggested to one of them that she send her CV out to competitors if she wants to earn more, which appears to have worked based on the fact that her productivity has had a step change over the last 8 weeks as if she's realised that she needs to justify her salary requests - check out my management skillz. The other two are seriously in danger of being let go before they've done 2 years, with us cutting our losses on their recruitment and training.

Apologies for going off-topic, but it really is nice to vent on a broadly anonymous forum.
Would you though? 🤣

This is where I believe Brighton will give Chelsea an ultimatum. A deadline on bids and if they are unable to do so he will not be sold. Bloom will not allow this to go to anywhere near the Transfer Deadline Day.
Would absolutely love this to happen…..’Sorry Todd, too late now, we haven’t got time to replace. Pop back next summer with 150 and I’ll give you first dibs’.

He was the last player I wanted to see leave the club, but then I saw his creepy, girly giggling at the awards night. F***ing weirdo. Take the money!
The lad ain’t the sharpest tool in the box signs a new deal and then cries he wants out after putting the club in a stronger bargaining position than before. His agents look tinpot probably needed the money from the new deal to keep the cash flow healthy.
So far that’s two deals the agents haven’t been able to get over the line if I was the player I would be upgrading my agent.

Unless the club who hold the newly signed 5-year contract do not want the player to leave. This has also happened throughout the history of football; most recently with er, an Ecuadorean player - what’s his name? Arsenal tried to get him. f*** me. Plays for that shitty league one club on the South Coast😂
I said a big offer, not cheapskate offers already turned down.

Can you post a link to this? In his own words, rather than someone alleging it. Thanks in advance

Problem here is all the media appear to be taking the narrative that we are the bad guys in this, we're not, it's Chelsea holding the whole thing up. Pay the money you get the player.
It was the same when Leeds wanted to buy White. We just kept saying he was worth more than £28M.
He was and we were right. Arsenal paid the price we wanted.
Tony Bloom will not be pushed around by any club or the media.

Yep, his crap, parasitic agents are desperate to monetise their only real asset…..….…we’ve heard nothing of that nature from him directly at all. Nothing.

Also, this has been inferred (by me, in jest) because he is a devout Catholic. Do you have any actual data on his IQ, judgement, etc., and some comparators (arguably there are few footballers with razor sharp minds, so to make the claim of bluntness of mind requires that Moises be exceptionally thick)? Again, some evidence would be nice.

(This thread seems to contain more fiction than a Jeffrey Archer CV. I mean novel).

He wants out let’s all stop pretending.
That isn't what I asked. You said he 'cries he wants out'. Where is the evidence of this crying?

The situation is in danger of turning into something of a circus for Albion. The player clearly doesn't want to be at the club, Bloom has allegedly given his word the lad can leave, Chelsea have offered a more than reasonable amount, and yet still the club are dragging this out to a very painful conclusion. This farce is all on the Brighton board. Nobody else to blame.

One thing is for sure, this will alert every single promising young player and their respective agent on how Bloom intends to operate moving forward. In future, Bloom might find he's having significantly more difficultly in enticing wunderkinder to the South Coast, given the choice, in light of how Moises Caicedo has been treated. He's playing poker with Brighton's future for the sake of ~£20m and it's a dangerous game. A very dangerous game indeed.
Thanks for the laugh, you buffoon.

We had all this two years ago with Ben White. He was sold to Arsenal eventually for the price we wanted. Run along now.

As a matter of interest where did the rumour/news/story/bullshit about him refusing to train and play come from?

The club aren’t going to broadcast that so who is stirring the pot I wonder?
His agents, via Fab and BellendJacobs (so it becomes ‘fact’ because they’ve got loads of followers)

You'll never be a transfer guru if you go in search of facts Harry.

Being a transfer guru is all about setting hares running, innuendo, assumption, bringing to the boil, keeping it on a low simmer, stirring the pot etc.

'Is today showdown day for Caicedo?'
'There is no truth in the rumour that Caicedo is having a clear-the-air discussion with PBOBE at 12 today'.
'Chelsea to consider new final bid'
'Astrid to give Caicedo a warm welcome'

All bollocks of course. But all plausible to interested listeners.

His close friends said it.
Really. OK. Do you have a link/reference? Sorry to be a bore about this but I'm an evidence-based sort of geezer
