10 minutes from my digs so may give it a go when I get in tomorrow eveningformer Rome inhabitant here - Fiddler's Elbow is a long-standing Irish pub I'd recommend for a pint. It's near the station but discreetly tucked away.

Places to avoid include Campo de Fiori, or squares/piazze in general.

Main reason for avoiding Campo De Fiori? Plan was to head to Open Baladin and few pubs around there. Avoid for pickpockets/thieving bastards or is it a Roma areaformer Rome inhabitant here - Fiddler's Elbow is a long-standing Irish pub I'd recommend for a pint. In the same boat as you, no plans as of yet though…As well as a place tomorrow, are there any other Albion fans who don't have a ticket for the game but are in Rome? Any plans for where to go to watch the game?
Shirley taste and decency are better reasons for avoiding Irish Bars.@SeanInRome advised avoiding the Irish bars as the (cowardly) ultras attack them.
Why Campo di Fiori? Been there a few times in the past and lovely area. Was thinking of passing through tonight.former Rome inhabitant here - Fiddler's Elbow is a long-standing Irish pub I'd recommend for a pint. It's near the station but discreetly tucked away.

hi there, it's lovely by oneself, but wouldn't recommend as a group of football fans ...Why Campo di Fiori? Been there a few times in the past and lovely area. Was thinking of passing through tonight.
hi there, it's lovely by oneself, but wouldn't recommend as a group of football fans ... this is my advice for piazzas in general - they can attract large numbers quickly (be it nob-ends on scooters or riot police)Main reason for avoiding Campo De Fiori? I certainly wouldn't be hanging out in Aventino-Tastaccio.Looks like there's no set plan, but where do you think most of us will hang out on Wednesday evening and Thursday before and after the game?
Vatican? Old Rome? Modern Center?
