I doubting him and I'm still here, and I'm still doubting him.

As others have said, the results of the past two games, whilst brilliant (WE WON!) have come from forced changes, and basically he's got lucky.

He didn't do himself any favours in my eyes, when he said he was saving Murray for the cup match. Bollocks to the cup, I'd rather go up thanks. He's said he didn't except Murray to play a part, so basically he's admitting he got lucky!!

As much as Micky was a god first time round, in my eyes anything short of promotion, or at least a play off is a failure. Dean Wilkins got us heading in the right direction, and finnish one place of the play offs. Any manager coming in after his sacking as got to finnish in the play offs, or what was the point of changing manager? (P.S. I dont give a f*** if the player didn't like Wilkins (which aint true anyway) he had us one place of the play offs!)

No it's not a failure, he's here for three years, why do people want instant success? Wilkins did not have us heading in the right direction, the team was weak. Yes we finished outside the play-offs but in terms of our team and they way we played, we were so far off the top 6 we wouldn't be able to compete. About the players, yes it is true.

In my opinion the position we finished completely pappered over the cracks of the season.

can you say how "you know" it is true with regards to the players not liking wilkins - also how was the team weak - we had good loan signings last year - just a lot less than this

I made critical comments about Adams and questioned his ability and motivation. Based on the evidence of performances at the time, I think they were valid comments from a worried fan. I could not see us getting anything out of the last 2 games and am delighted to have been wrong. If Adams sustains this form and develops the team further I will be even happier.

Spot on!

How many times?? Murray was recovering from an injury, was back a lot earlier than expected. If you listened to Adams on the phone in, Murray said if you need me to I'll sit on the bench and if needed I will come on for 20/25 minutes towards the end. Fleetwood also had a shoulder injury, and Adams may not have seen fit for him to start. People need to remember they actually do not know what goes on behind the scenes, perhaps Fleetwood didn't feel right to start.

Think of this logically. Would Adams not want his best striker and another recognised striker up front to start, yes of course he would. But because of the circumstances that was not possible, so obviously he had no choice but to start with Virgo and Anyinsah up front.

Well said.

amazing one week of good results and all the MA doubters have gone into hiding, I said last week he is a very good manager this before the last two results and I stand by what I said then, so it's time for some of you to start eating the proverbial humble pie and at last get behind the team and the manager
:D

I bet you feel a right clown - I would if I were you. Maybe you'll post something equally self righteous next time we win two games on the trot.

In division 4 next season.

Fair enough, but I'm first to admit that I was WRONG on that one - he's looking world class now. And I didn't changed my mind based on ONE week of good Murray performances either which is what this bloke did.

Just to clarify, jkw started this self righteous, smug thread because some people stopped grumbling after TWO good results. As if that somehow proved his point.

2 results prove nothing either way, good or bad, but I am amazed - and after all these years I shouldn`t be - just how quick people jumped, and are still jumping ship into the Adams out raft. I`m not saying you are in that boat (you may be) but the amount who are is amazing.
This thread is just as likely to re-surface again in 4 weeks because of a run of form.
