I think the problem is more the delivery, if David Beckham were whipping in our corners, Duffy would be in double figures every season.
A free kick yes, but not a corner.
Last one I saw was Murray at Brum last season,but I don't get out much.
Last season the team with the worst conversion rate in the PL from corners was ... Man City (4 from 259, or 1.5pc). Next worst: Man Utd (4/208, 1.9pc). Then it was Sunderland, who had three, but all in the last few weeks. So there's little or no correlation between a team's finishing position and how many corners they convert, because none of them convert enough for it to make much of an impact.
The best percentage was WBA (15 from 149, 10pc), which looks like a real outlier as it's miles clear of the next two: West Ham (11/163, 6.7pc) and Everton (10/181, 5.5pc).
