Seem to recall that a firm of civil engineers in Lewes was working on the changes necessary to the A27 and A270 but have not seen or heard anything since.

Ignore the words. What worries me is the prospect of queuing until September 2010 to get through some major roadworks on my route into work. I might be tempted to take the train instead.
Perhaps they're mixing up Whitehawk with Bevendean?
I heard as part of the infrastructure works they're putting in paths from both Moulsecoomb and Bevendean to Falmer...
There already is a path from Moulsecoomb and Bevendean to Falmer - it used to be a regular Sunday walk when I was young
