Yes another thread moaning about our current situation, but with a twist... YOU get to decide when it all went wrong, going from promotion favourites to the dross we have seen this season in two years.
Is the correct answer.Play offs against Palace when we simply did not turn up.
When Paul Barber turned up
Probably when Garcia quit after losing at Derby, for whatever was the reason. However, it can be turned around just as easily and the experiences of other teams show that the slide could be so much worse: Wigan are almost certain to be relegated less than 2 years after being in the PL and winning the FA Cup. And Fulham, who were a PL team for 13 years until last May, are below us in the table and couldn't even beat Wigan (or us) at home.

Yep, we were fortunate last year that all the other teams going for 6th choked more badly than us, but in our hearts, we knew the quality wasn't a patch on the previous season, this year, the squad has taken a giant step back quality wise. Appointing in Hyppia with hindsight was a disaster. Sherwood anyone ? Was ridiculed by plenty on here, doing a cracking job with Villa, who like us, couldn't score in a brothel
Indeed, for some reason Sherwood was ridiculed here but we went for a safe pair of hands, someone who was sacked for not being able to arrest a slide in form at Norwich but who we expected to turn around our own slide in form.
When Barber turned up. We ceased to be a football club and became a business.
If it wasn't Barber it would be someone else.
Football in general has changed not just Brighton.
To be in any way competitive, got to have a sound financial structure these days.
Barber is doing an excellent job IMO. If only the other staff matched his performance....
