No question - play off 2nd leg vs Palace.

Look at that side we had - 6 playing in the Prem now in Barnes, Hammond, Upson, Bridcutt, Buckley and Ulloa. Three with Prem experience in Kuszczak, Bridge and Orlandi. Two with La Liga experience in Calde and Spanish Dave. And Greer - a Scottish international. How we lost against Zaha, Jedinak, Speroni and 8 donkeys is simply incredible.

Thank God! I thought they would blame the Tories.

I know the defeat has scarred lots of you deeply, but to label us as donkeys is silly.
We were top or very close to it for most of the season , until Holloway nearly mucked up.
The likes of Speroni, Ward, Delaney, Jedinak,Zaha's, Murray, and Bolaisie are now established in the PL, so maybe they aren't as bad as you're making out..

Exactly this. Hiring him has been a disaster. We will not recover while he's still around.

So should we remain a football club and go the way of all flesh, like some of the other clubs around who are not well managed?

It's the cumulative effect of four poor transfer windows. Adding kayal in the last one was a turnaround in terms of quality. We need to add quality and quantity this summer.

Palace fans will be loving this poll, that's nonsense.

It all fell apart when we sold all our best players from Jan to August of last year

When TB decided it was time to have a great stadium and great training facilities but forgot one tiny aspect.
You have to have half decent players to fill them DOH !!!!:wrong:

Fell apart? Jesus you lot need to get some perspective.

Your biggest mistake is treating the Championship with contempt. You see it as a stepping stone to the PL, it's an inconvenience, you were on a roll and none of the two Bob teams in the Championship would or could stop you. Hell, half of you thought it was destiny.

Since you've been promoted you've had two play offs and a season of poor/mediocre football. You do realise that there are 23 other teams trying to either get promotes or avoid relegation. It's a cliche but it's a damn hard league to climb out of and you need a little luck.

You did well with Gus but that wasn't enough. You're "destiny" hadn't been fulfilled. You spent the next season thinking you would push on for automatic promotion. Slating Oscar all the time, you realised too late he was actually quite good at his job.

So here you are mid table obscurity, what a disaster :shootself. Try spending more time appreciating the championship, how hard it is to get out of and getting behind your team. You might then get somewhere

I voted "playoff defeat to Palace". Not because it was CP but myself and mates knew that we had reached a pinnacle that we would not see again for a long while.

We have been proved right.

I never said 'fell apart', but you can't deny that it has gone wrong for Brighton, we aren't really mid table, we can still go down... and if that happens then I can say 'fell apart'.

Thanks for the paragraph by the way :moo: , I assume by the way you say "you and your" you aren't a Brighton fan, what team do you support?? :moo:
