Nice! I had a 2010 Carrera S2 PDK in the same colour. Wish i never sold it. 1) because i loved it and 2) its going up in value.

That is very pretty.
Most batteries discharge very quickly. I always disconnect mine if I'm not using it within a week or two. The other thing is that petrol goes off fairly quickly (learnt the hard way filling up the tank and then trying to start it months later). If you're getting a classic, disconnect the battery and keep the tank empty
As for the ugly, I can't help. Other than only buy beautiful cars
hyundai i40 tourer diesel - got it spring last year 60k on clock 4.5 years old, years mot, 4 new tyres, service and years warranty for £8,500
last time I looked same car now goes for 13k to 14k - had one the same a few years ago as company car when doing 30k+ miles a year - a great motorway cruiser
feels much safer than prius I had in between, as so light felt like was going to be blown anywhere when on a motorway in bad weather
current one has cost me a mot in year 1, will need a 2 yearly service soon, and maybe some rear brake pads - old company one other than tyres and brakes never had any issues

I had a Porsche 993 Targa for a couple of years. Lovely car, great drive but maintenance for 1k a year was obscene. Itch scratched but no regrets once sold
on.

I think that the 997.2 is currently the sweet spot of the 911 range. Not ridiculously expensive like the older air-cooled models, great looks (unlike the rather divisive fried egg looks of the 996) and a more analogue, sports car type drive than the later 991 and 992.
Unfortunately mine’s a 997.1 C2S, so I expect the engine’s going to blow up with bore scoring or a shattered IMS bearing any time soon [emoji6]

I've been tempted by porkers, but only really like the 356 and early 911. . . .356's are crazy money.
