As a generally non betting person, who is currently offering the best odds for Hudds to gain promotion this season ?

This because I intend to place a bet on them such that, in the event that it should happen, I will at least have some satisfaction whilst hoping my bet would 'tank' !

It is, of course, that other aspect which would generate the greatest happiness !

They're generally about 6/4 across the board, so unless you're going to put a half decent amount on it, it's not really worth it..

This is what I thought when I looked, I'll just be miserable with everyone else if it happens.

Best bet at the moment is Brighton NOT to get promoted. An amazing 7/1 with Skybet. Obviously I want them to, but seriously 7/1. Seems like a non brainier as at least there will be a tiny bit of compensation. Maybe Uncle Tone should put a wedge on.

If it were possible, would Tony Bloom want to put about £20m on at those odds....?

Thanks for that - the last time I looked it was substantially better - I would have been happy to lose but not at 6/4 !

usually end up about 2.5k up on footy betting. Usually lay out £25 a weekend.

Biggest winner was a a cpl seasons ago where i won £1000 off £1

come one win away a few weeks ago from 30k off 50p.

Lost £350 on those horrible roulette machines in the bookies. Was only playing £10 a spin... covering 10 numbers. Didn't get one winner.

I don't disbelieve you, but assuming you mean you usually make about 2.5k profit per weekend for a £25 stake, how do you manage that on a consistent basis, and do you do perms? My outlay is normally a fair bit higher than that at the weekend but I never achieve that sort of profit.

£35 e/w on a 16/1 winner, I was at the course and the tic tac guys were dropping the odds to 12/1 but i kept on moving along until I got the 16/1. Won about £1150 that day.
£40 at 25/1 on van Nistlerooy to be top scorer in champions league.
£800 win on Germany to win the last world cup. I was putting £5 on every other week for months.
£5 bet on 3 teams in a result rush that got me £1500, I was out of work at the time as well!

To be honest I don't win big that often although I don't really bet that often either. I am thinking about this matched betting but I don't think I could keep it up everyday even though I would have the time. I don't bother with fantasy football for that reason.

Is that all! Damn machines have ruined my life - just last week, covering 27 numbers out of 37 i had 12 straight misses followed by one winner followed by 15 more wipeouts before going skint - 1 winning spin out of 28 ...Impossible odds to calculate that ever happening in real casino ,certainly >1 million to one. That run of 28 spins included 6 coming in 3 times on the trot and then twice more a few spins later making 5 out of 9 same number..

They should ban them, there is little chance of that while the government pick up tax off them.

Mines currently in play. 9 team accumulator 7 have come in so far. Got a Danish game on the go - my team are 1 up on the 75th. Tomorrow ive got Croatia to beat Estonia. If it comes in £832 from a tenner. Not bad considering I haven't had a bet in about a year.

Oh dear. And that is exactly why accas are like printing money for the bookies.
