The joy after that goal has never been bettered before or since
Plus had been on the lash all day and in a nutty mood
Everyone around me seemed to be on the same level too

It's got to be Hereford surely? Anyone saying otherwise must either have stopped following us (a fair few let's face it!) is a JCL or simply wasn't alive then or too young to remember. But for those of us thereor listening on the radio even....NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THAT MOMENT!!!

Caught in a Riptide
in recent times it has to be Buckley vs Donny and Zamara vs Bristol

i can't remember much further back than that - on a side note i just don't get how some of you guys remember all the games you have been to and goals seen. clearly i am senile.

Same, never felt as sick or tense watching any game then that goal .. completely lost it and mildly concussed after being elbowed in the head!

100% this. I've always described my reaction to this goal as going from the lowest low to the highest high and it felt like my brain exploded. So much rode on the result of that goal. I've been present at 95% of the other games mentioned in this thread and as good as they all are they don't come any where near this one.
I don't ever expect to experience such an extreme reaction again, because I don't think we'll ever be in another game where the future of the club is on the line.

Round the back, by the bins.
Not really sure why but one goal where I went particularly nuts was Andrew Crofts at Southampton in Gus's first game for us.I remember my mate looking at me like I was having some sort of fit.

Add in:
- scorer is against his old club
- full house including 7,000 Albion fans
- the opposition were League Champions that season

Reinelt. Easily.

I lost control of my own being for awhile there. I think it had something to do with hugging and screaming.

Amazing that this came only a week after another Orgasmogoal from Storer v Donny.

What an absolutely incredible week that was. Things are so good on the pitch right now and yet I don't think I will ever reach such footballing highs again. I'm looking forward to finding out though.

Bounced around like mad at Hereford but it was never one of my best banana moments. The stress before and after was too much for me. YouTube certainly shows it as a great banana moment.

It certainly was a great banana moment. Never to be equalled. I can not conceive of a more important goal, especially when compared to the dark days that preceded it. All that emotion invested in one goal, one moment.

Jimmy Case in the Norwich quarter final...the north went loopy ..... we had his run in from distance to get a 'semi' going.. then the finish right under our noses....it was joy and pain at the same time.

Allegedly I got rather animated by THAT Stuart Munday goal but I can't believe that I was sober enough to have seen it.

Absolute Scenes.

I really feel sorry for people who don't like football, imagine never feeling like this and being able to go absolutely bamboozle with a load of people you don't know? Absolutely love it.

The good old London Road terrace some many great moments on it. I seem to recall a powerful Richie Barker header from a Rod Thomas cross was celebrated with much enthusiasm.

That's the one that came to mind for me (apart from the obvious ones already mentioned) - I went completely mental and nearly ended up on the pitch!

1. Robbie Reinault at Hereford United.

2. Stuart Storer at the Goldstone v Doncaster Rovers.

Sure there have been others, but none that come close to those two.
