Sidenote: a mate of mine has a MA, and is now a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (well, I say "mate" - obviously he's not actually a mate, as such. I mean how could anyone be mates with an actuary?). Any hoo - he now takes great delight in his business card reading James Smith (not his real name) MAFIA. Little things.

Gone through most of my stunt training. Final push at International stunt school in LA next June and I can step up my work. That qualifies me in height work, precision driving and fire work. But I mainly interested in sword work. Nearly there.

Used to teach rock climbing and am a qualified fitness and gym instructor with Ryburn but they'd all be out of date now it's so long since I taught.

How do you get into the stunt industry? Do you need to be an actor first? Are there stunt schools you can apply for?
