Flumping is a great word, but i think it Flurry
as it, there is a flurry of snow :)

There is a flurry of snow, but a flurry is a noun, describing an element of the snow. "Flumping" is the verb we're looking for, describing the act of it coming down. It flumps, I flump, you flump, they flump :lolol:

Way out west
Don't people talk about a big dump of snow...to suggest that it has just dropped out of the sky, as if by magic, and covered everything in a big white coat!
