Saw them live at Hammersmith Odeon November 1974.
Drove up from Brighton in my Mk1 GT Ford Cortina with a mate to see the gig.
Steve Marriott's voice was amazing.

They started touring again last year and I’d booked tickets to see them in York, but he had a bike accident so the tour was cancelled.

I remember seeing them in Stafford in 1980 - I loved everything about that first album - the sleeve, the notes, the sound, the image, the fact that I couldn’t work out all the lyrics of all their songs - even when I had the words!
I couldn’t find the album version of Dance Stance(Burn It Down) with the channel-hopping radio bit at the beginning which was so evocative of radio then but this clip does have ‘Geno’ too
