It was terrible reading why this talented young lady had been absent from public life for so long. I certainly hope things are a lot better for her now, and she can return to doing what she does best, producing great songs like this one.

Now you’ve done it! I hadn’t heard this song for a while and then I find a live version. My favourite Cat Stevens song, but it is an acquired taste and needs a few listens (like most great songs). I doubt many of you have 18 mins to listen to a song so this is a bit self indulgent, but thanks for inspiring me to find it. On my youtube favourites list now

Cat Stevens ? It was one of my life ambitions to see him in concert, I achieved that when Island celebrated their 50th anniversary at Shepherds Bush Empire, (my favoruite venue). He was introduced onto the stage by Bono, who was completely overwhelmed by the occasion. Kennedy moments................
