Early Meteors gig probably 80/81 when they had to leave the rockin scene as teds and rockabillies thought the music too wild.
The Adam Ants crew started following the Meteors after he hit the charts and you can see a mixture in the crowd of young rockabillies, punks and skinheads, some trying to bop, some pogoing, and the early emerging slam/wrecking which is the reason they got kicked out of the rockin scene.
Thus psychobilly was born.
The followers were called the crazies, then Zorchmen, then finally the Wreckin Crew or Kattle.
