Back in the early 70's myself and a workmate were on a 3 month Managers course which entailed travelling up to London several times a month. We used to take it in turns with each others cars, I had a clapped out Hillman Imp, my mate had a Mk2 Cortina GT in BRG, and the ultimate car accessory, a cassette player! Needless to say we favoured his car over mine, we were both mad Faces/Rod Stewart fans and must have played to death 'EveryPicture' and 'A nods as Good as a Wink' albums in his car over those 3 months. Some really great classics on those 2 albums, but as you said it's a pity Rod's head eventually disappeared up his own bottom!
