I haven't seen many bands, but the Spice Girls would take some beating

(queue piss-taking......) :(

and (the real before i die one) Pentangle on july 2nd at the Dome. To hear Bert Jansch, the greatest guitar player ever, live will make my musical year!

Good shout.

Back in the sixties, it was my ambition to hear Bert Jansch before HE died. Rather mysteriously, he might outlive us all.

The democratic and free EU
Quite a few really:

The Birthday Party several times
Gang of Four several times
Cabaret Voltaire several times
Gogol Bordello several times (including 2 hours of glorious mayhem in Tilburg just 2 weeks ago)
SLF at the Electric Ballroom in '79 (i.e. before they became rubbish)
U2 supporting Talking Heads at the Palais in 1980.
The Polyphonic Spree
Chk! Chk! Chk!
Ride, House of Love, Frank Black, Sonic Youth, the Pogues & the Ramones all on the same stage and the same day (though not at the same time, which would have been something...) in Belgium in 1991, although for reasons of beer I arrived late and missed a then-unknown Nirvana opening proceedings...
Carter USM playing in front of about 12 people in Apeldoorn
The Clash in 79
The Ruts in 79
The Three Johns at the Escape in the mid-80s (I think it may have been them who were supported by a very young Primal Scream)
The Members (several times) were a cracking live experience. Have many happy memories of leaping around like a loon to "Police Car".
The Banshees at the Rainbow in 79, waist deep in the broken remains of the seats that the organisers stupidly forgot to remove beforehand.

...and hundreds more...

I would still like to see The Flaming Lips before I go. But I will be getting the chance in August if I live that long.
