and promotion from League 1 be?

Seeing as we can now realistically expect to stay in League 1 and for purely selfish reasons on the teams I'd like to play next season, I'm going for

Leeds, Southend and QPR to come down and Scunthorpe Oldham and Yeovil to go up. I believe there is a reasonable chance of the majority of these coming about.

Leeds, QPR, Forest and Bristol City all in the same division as us would make up for being so lowly :clap2:

quite looking forward to coming down. a few old haunts to return to and a party to finish on the south coast as long as the schmucks stay up.

Way out west
I have looked at the likely mixed with the possibles and come up with:

Championship down:

Leeds
QPR
Luton

First up:

Scunthorpe
Oldham
Swansea

First down:

Rotherham
Bradford
Port Vale
Cheaterfield

Second up:

Walsall
Swindon
MKD
Wycombe

This selection is based on a mixture of personal convenience, giving me some nearer games to go to and removing some of the further away ones, plus adding in a few that we are likely to get an away following or might have a bit of an edge to them.

I can see Leeds just about staying up, only 2 points away from 21st, and they have a game in hand
Which they will undoubtedly lose.:lolol:

You wouldn't be saying that if you'd have watched them yesterday. They were shocking. Dreadful. Cardiff played poorly, particualrly during the first half, but Leeds were significantly worse. And although City were down to nine men for the last ten minutes, Leeds managed just one genuine shot on target.

They are a woeful team by Championship standards. Totally clueless. If yesterday's pathetic effort was anything to go by, then they are doomed to relegation.

Relegation from the championship:
Barnsley (as haven't been there yet)
Leeds (another so called big team falling from grace)
Southend or Qpr (localish away trips but would rather not go back to luton)

Promotion to the cahmpionship:
Oldham
Scunthorpe
Tranmere

Relegation To League one:
No real preferances apart from rotherham, others are localish and have had good away trips there

Promotion to League One: (haven't been to)
Walsall
Hartlepool
Lincon
MK Dons

As bad as a South Coast club that plays in blue and white were last season???

A bit of me wants Barnsley to stay up, but after their performance at St Mary's yesterday, they've got a lot of hard work to do. However, by the time we were on the bus back to the station my son was asking if he can come down to Withdean on his own next season:lolol:

And one more thing, how come Southampton can put on enough busses to get people away quickly after the game. It must have been 10 past five by the time I got to the busses & we managed to get straight on!

Leeds, QPR and Barnsley

Would quite like both Hull and Southend to stay up as their fans deserve it after the dumps they played in / play in - think Southend stadium decision will help our case re Falmer as well.

Leeds - Ken Bates and Wisey relegated - nobody will laugh at all!!

Likewise our old mate John Gregory who won't get any stick at all at Withdean ( if he ain't sacked by then )

Barnsley - anyone who thinks Leon Knight is worth a chance in the championship; all beit only on loan; deserves to go down

Considerably worse.

Leeds really didn't have a clue. With City down to nine men, their only tactic was to lump long balls down the middle. It obviously didn't occur to their manager or any of their players to try to stretch play by using the width of the pitch.

Under normal circumstances I would've been worried when we went down to nine men, to say the least. But yesterday I was totally confident that we could hold out for another ten minutes, and we did so easily. Leeds really were that bad.

They look similar to the Forest team of a couple of years ago. Some talented individuals, but no spirit, no leadership and absolutely no clue in terms of tactics.
