I had tickets for Theatre, Gigs, Chelsea Flower show and Wimbledon. None of these have suggested I may like to waive my refund.

I`m amazed that with everything that is going on at the moment you and others think that a donation to a Prem Football club is in order ! I have made several donations in the last three months to what I consider people and charities that are working all the hours that they have for the nations good. One of whom gave his life. I have absolutely zero intention of giving to a multimillion pound business whose players are IMO vastly overpaid and from what I have heard / seen aren`t exactly pulling their weight.
However what you/others do with your money is your not my business !

My thoughts too. I am not being guilt tripped into donating my money off next season when I can only dream of earning what our players and management are pocketing.

I have had requests from two half marathons and I believe this is an option for some gigs by small bands I hold tickets for. I say believe...I haven’t fully translated the email but I think this is what it says.

An overwhelming 77% want their money back.

If behind closed doors football continues next season, indicatively, that's a huge hit to the club.

Pray that the club aren't in the Championship (£113m broadcasting income, becomes £43m in parachute monies). Three of Norwich, Villa, Watford, Brighton, West Ham and Bmuff, are going to be deep financial :shit:.

Still cannot see this season being completed, it will be canned by late June.

It's going to be a stressful summer if play resumes. I think I'd be negotiating increased parachute payments as part of project restart.

Have the club neglected to put relegation clauses in player contracts ? Entirely self inflicted if that is the case.

Refund.

Although since I pay by DD I guess it's a reduction on 'next season's ' ST, which in turn will be refunded to me since there is no chance we'll be at the Amex to watch anything pre-vaccine.

£300k seems pretty low to me as far as charity donation is concerned - we must have a WEEKLY wage bill of over £500k

I'm sure I'll be accused of persecuting the players, but IMO they should have taken a (fairly high) wage cut whilst they're not playing.

The club’s monthly (players are actually paid monthly) gross wages pay bill last season was £7.4m and rising at 31% a year. The players and staff donation works out at 3.5% of last season’s pay.

If it’s points per game and not the full 38 fixtures played, I would imagine that enhanced parachute payments as a one off would be on the table.

I haven't got a season ticket any more, but if you have, and can afford one, I’d assume you're not homeless and starving.

waiver is best for the club, if the club can stomach it and suggest a charitable option then great.

At the end of the day we’d like to watch a football match, one team in blue and one stripes.

A few hundred quid is insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Today it's going on a VanMoof S3.

All I have to do is convince the club I actually had 9 other season tickets!!!

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the point of this post, but I don't like the sound of it.

Can I point out anyone that has got a season ticket probably had the money to afford one before Covid19 came along and put a spanner in the works for many of us.
I'm not homeless or starving thankfully, but my finances have taken a big hit and every penny counts at this worrying time.
