What were the "house names" in your school?

Surprising lack of Catholicism on this thread so far. Cottesmore was (and still is)

Fisher
Howard
Campion
More

Same as De La Salle.

More was yellow. Although as the school was winding down they were not as important as previous years.

If you had an older sibling you went into the same house - for some reason.

I was in Trustram - as my dad had been.

When were you there? I did my stretch between 68 and 75

65 to 72 - 1.6 (Charlie Law), 2.3 (Sammy Turner!!), 3.5(My memory is fading), 4.29(It was a long time ago), 5.40(John Cunningham), L(vi)23(Jack Milford?), U(vi)23(Jack Milford?)

Many unhappy memories of Harry Alt & George Ely though

If I recall Cardinal Newman had the following houses:

Pope
Bishop
Cardinal
Hallitosis.

:lolol:

I was at West Park from September 1984 (where I joined from Heene First) through to July 1988 when I went onto Durrington High.

I was in Clive (blue) house.

Albion & England forever.

Thimble Keegan
Littlehampton BHA

Well after me then, I left in '74, the same time my dad stopped teaching.

An excuse for mass rucks at playtime. Northfleet School for Boys was not exactly Eton

Infants in Hudds/wakefield = 2
Primary in South Africa = 4
Senior in the UK = 5

No wonder I can out with a crap education and crap qualifications!!!
