Alternative title - anything better than "Tracksuit from Matalan"?

Yes that was from the same time period that provided us with, game, manager, player, breakthrough player and goal of the season - plus plenty of other dull blah blah Europe blah, football innit bs.

But what are the random little things you might take away from such a spectacular Albion season.

Hard to beat the Chelsea match,a hostile crowd and smashing the granny out of them too boot, marvelous.

My personal highlight was The Macallister screamer that was chalked off v Leicester that was a actual WTF goal,I simply couldn't believe that any human being that loves football would want to disallow a thing of beauty like that just because someone was offside 40 yards away minding their own business as the ball ripped into the net.

I’m not sure this is entirely in the spirit of the OP but Pascal’s goal versus Everton in the 4-1 win away was a real highlight. It had it all:

1. A beautiful finish with Tarkowski ending up literally lying in the net like an idiot after a fresh air clearance.
2. Gross sprinting away from an Everton defence at a pace that my 6 year old would be proud of
3. The awful free kick followed by one of the most inexplicable back passes I’ve ever seen.
4. The toxicity of the crowd when it went in.

Glorious.

After various big wins - opposition fans on the trains with their tails between their legs, admitting that we have an excellent team. (Usually after being insufferable on the way in)

Everything about Everton's fourth (I think) goal in the 1-5 DRUBBING:

• Comedy defending with Dunk and Steele ending up on their backsides
• Dwight McNeil celebrating before the goal went in
• The sheer bizarre nature of the match/scoreline – in the conext of the rest of the season

The sight of the 'built' physios for the first time drew a literal double take  #ArmEnvy

I don't think goals scored or the thrashing of scummy teams count as "frivolous" events.

These are my frivolous highlights:

Souness calling De Zerbi a risk and then being told he himself had a worse track record
Merson suggesting De Zerbi wanted to avoid European football after the line up vs Wolves was announced
The Twitter storm around Naylor after Arse failed to sign Caicedo
The recreation of Mitoma's goal versus Liverpool using cartoon cats
De Zerbi throwing the ball away versus Liverpool as revenge for their player knocking the ball out of his hands a few minutes earlier
That little kid dancing in the seagull outfit
Buzz's Boot room quiz - every episode

Deepest, darkest Sussex
Singing “Give them their money back” to the Wolves fans

Also at the Chelsea game, Ben Roberts being booed when doing corners at HT in front of the north stand, not kicking it to try and play with the crowd and just getting booed even harder

The craze for calling Ronald "Roland" amuses me. And the fact so many of us watch his vlogs but have no idea what he is saying.
Watch it on You Tube and you can get subtitles to translate it into English. It's not perfect, but you get the gist of what he's saying.

Pascal Gross looking back at Potter after his goal and saying "IT'S FINISHED."

(it was possibly the linesman, but don't ruin my happiness)
This with bells on. Whilst he meant the we had finished Chelsea that day, in hindsight it was the first nail in Potters coffin.
