Just far enough away from LDC
The look on Potter's face when he came out ,earlier than normal at the amex in the hope of sneaking in bit being shown on the big screen looking shocked when he saw the de zerbi flag being paraded across the north.

You could see his mind wondering why he never got a flag 🤔

Way out West
Not really frivolous, but there were two moments I really, really enjoyed, mainly because they were the epitome of cool finishes, and also because I had great views of each of them:

- Undav's second goal v Wolves (the slow motion chip over the keeper)
- Enciso's goal v Bournemouth (standing in front of the keeper and taking his time!)

But there were so many other wonderful moments, frivolous or otherwise!

How? I can only see Spanish subtitles as an option
Go to settings, choose 'Subtitles' and then 'Spanish (auto-generated)'.
Click on 'Subtitles' again and there should be three options: off; Spanish (auto-generated) and auto-translate.
Choose auto-translate and from the subsequent drop-down menu, choose English (or whatever language you desire.

4th goal and celebration against Chelsea.

At 3-1 and we’ll into injury time I was irrationally nervous and screaming at Enciso to take it to the corner before his rebounded shot was tucked away by Groß.

Judging by the explosive crowd celebration (far louder than you’d normally get when you’re already 2 up with a minute of stoppage time to play) and Groß’s ‘game over’ celebratio, it seems I wasn’t the only one still nervous!

Some of you really do need to learn the word frivolous, or at least reread #1.

Honourable (recency bias) mention for:-

"Let's all do the Villa" while standing with our hands on our heads.

But my other 2 chucklesome memories from this season are:-

Trossards 3rd at Anfield prompted the big fella with 'Hayden something Maine' to grab me in a mahooooive bearhug then swing me round like a rag doll, while Jnr fell about laughing - I've never felt so safe.

&

(Not recency bias) being overtaken on the M42 doing 75mph by a Reliant Robin 3 wheeler.

'Track suit' at West Ham wins as that's the FRIVOLOUS memory of the season, I'll still be enjoying in x years time - I still smile about now.

The Chelsea home game. Love the whole drama of it. Almosts makes me hope he becomes Palace manager just so we can take up another notch next season.
De Zerbi knee slide away at Arsenal. Class!
Solly Scoring away at Southampton, just what the lad needed.

Well that is nice and easy if not at all obvious. Thanks. Every day is a school day.

Most videos I watch on the internet don't have much dialogue...

1. RDZs justification when Steel first came in for Sanchez “at the moment I prefer Jason”

2. at the Villa away game when they sang their ‘champions of Europe ‘ song and we sang back ‘ you weren’t even born’ ….looking over at them this fella about my age (oldish) earnestly mouthing ‘I wez , I wez”

1. 4th Sep 22 - The fuzzy glow when walking away from The Amex in bright sunshine having just tonked Leicester 5-2 thinking Potter was going to take us to The Promised Land.
2. 8th Sep 22 - Utter anger, disbelief and attendant high blood pressure at Potter's ultimate betrayal.

This is neither frivolous nor a highlight. You must be looking for the "random memories from this season" thread.

Seems not all his videos have it as an option, think they need to be up for a while so YouTube can generate them.

Corrected for you
Thanks but I suspect he will be viewed similarly by rival teams fans pretty soon. The cockiness, play acting and general shithousery is already there and as he gets more game time and more headlines is bound to turn him into a panto villan. To be clear - I love him for it :)
