Vardy so early was the reason we retreated back. Shame we hadn't got a 2nd while on top.
It’s not harsh. History has a habit of repeating itself and we are operating week in and week out without a plan B. Every week it’s either squeaky bum time , trying to protect a one goal lead, or a war of attrition, trying to steal a point. Watching the Albion is like being under anaesthetic. We offer virtually zero goal threat. Chess isn’t a spectator sport, and neither is the fare on offer every week. Exactly what do we have to offer this league, apart from unmitigated boredom?Harsh.....!! we lack real quality , the new signings are average , Dunk , Duffy and Matty can't win games for us week in week out we can survive with the defence we have but we need a real quality centre mid and a quality striker to play with Muzz.......the fact we are playing a war horse up front on his own in the toughest league in the world is an indication of how far behind the game we are .........i hate to say it , i can see us scraping a draw at burnley...please god....!! but i see melt downs of biblical proportions when the goons from up the road beat us in a couple of weeks.
Just watched Hughton’s comments on MOTD. To paraphrase We needed the second goal, we were better against the 11 than the 10. I think that’s Hughton’s very polite way of slagging the team off.
He was said it was “frustrating...hugely disappointing...and that we should have [killed the game off cos they had 10 men]”. Idea that he was complacent about today instead of being furious both in the interviews and almost certainly in the dressing room is ridiculous.
The fact that Leicester.... who lost arguably two of their best players before half time, then came out in the second half and were allowed to prance around the pitch with 10 men like Manchester City (ok slight exaggeration) is a real worry.
We barely threatened in the 2nd half until injury time, why??

We were fantastic going forward first half - fearless, great movement, creating plenty of openings - absolute night and day compared to recent games. Pröpper and Groß showed how much they’d been missed.
Leicester lost their best creative player and absolutely looked there for the taking in the final 10-15 mins of the first half.
We came out second half TERRIFIED of them. Thoughts? What did Hughton say at half time?
Why is it we repeat fail repeat fail. Hughton has a stock routine for every interview. Similar to his stock routine for tactics.
Leicester hardly threatened in the 2nd half, they had more of the ball but we didn't allow them many spaces to use it. I don't remember Ryan needing to make a save or feeling nervous that they were in a dangerous position prior to the penalty.
I'm most disappointed we didn't push on during the 1st half and try and kill the game by half time so we could then rest a few players and give others a run out

"each take a Prozac and wash it down with some Horlicks".
So why was he shouting at them to go forward for basically the whole 2nd half?
This is a good thread. There is clearly a disconnect between what Hughton SAYS he wanted (in the post match interviews) , and what was delivered. If individual players are not responding to his messages, at either HT or during the second half arm wavings, then CH should sub them early and bring on someone who gets it.
Well, he's hardly going to slag himself off, is he?
