What was the first game the Albion played after you were born?

Lost 2-0 at Donny.

Went on to be top of the table with five games to go, only to finish 5th.

I was busy being born when Albion lost at home to Watford in 1948.My Dad missed the game,and probably never forgave me.We drew our last game 0-0 with Swansea Town,and finished bottom of Div3 South.I think this was as close as Hereford,perhaps closer,as we had to apply for re-election.I suppose the vote could have gone against us,and the Albion could now be in the Brighton league playing at Hove Rec !

As for the Albion v Watford programme April 1948,if anybody has it I would willingly buy it.

Trying to check the Albion games as I was born 20th June 1958 but have found that West Germany lost to Sweden 3-1 and Brazil beat France 5-2 in the World Cup Semi Finals on the 24th June 1958

Brighton lost the three games after I was born and only won once in the ten games after I was born. Should have prepared me for what was to come after 1965!!

We beat Millwall at home 2-0 and eventually won the old Div 4 title.

Mine's 3 games after that. 13/02/1965 a 1-0 away win at Torquay

I was at the game - a cracker - Kenny Sansom won it for them in the last minute.

Mine was a 1-0 home win over QPR on 1 December 1956, Albert Mundy (one of my dad's favourite players scored).

Lost 1-2, which saw us in 18th place in the bottom tier of the Football League.

Same as that for me, I see we didn't win until about a month after we were born !
