No TV on the 28th May 1946. Some Cricket, Mcc V India on the Light Progamme to cover the gasps of pain in Buckingham Road. My Dad was in Palestine or Egypt, somewhere in that neck of the woods. Not 9 months before obviously.

No tv for me either, all broadcasts dropped during the WW2. Listened to BBC Light Programme on the radio when I was a kid. I remember 'Lift up your Hearts' 07.55 am as the cue to jump out of bed in the realisation I would be late for school..again!
