Cheers for sharing by the way, great looking back over the kid's shows from my youth. The Ghost Hunter, now that was a CLASSIC.

The earliest reference to the Albion that gets thrown up by the Search facility seems to be "I Saw the Game" on Regional Radio at 6.30 pm on 22 January 1938 - Eye Witness Account of Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic v Brighton and Hove Albion.

The way they refer to the game makes it sound like some sort of crime.

I remember bunking off school and by lunchtime being so bored I would end up watching all the schools programs.

... with a bit of 'Bart' by an American band called Ruby. Tom Fogerty, guitarist in Ruby was formerly guitarist in Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Creedence Clearwater Revival were, joining the dots, the band that had the No.1 single in the UK when I was born.

Boring By Sea
the internet is indeed powerful, and i guessed it would be this. But for a moment i hoped against hope that it would just be an NSCer with every copy of the radio times and was at a bit of a loose end.

Sure there's one out there somewhere.

The 1966 World Figure Skating Championships. No wonder my mother liked John Curry, Robin Cousins and Torvill and Dean!

Thankfully I was more interested in Dr Who, Dixon of Dock Green and The Black and White Minstrel Show in my first few hours of life.........Mamee!
