Worthing
Absolutely - I don't have a 8gb but the old one is super.

However. My new Samsung Omnia arrived last night, which on paper has the same feature set, plus a better battery life and a touch screen. Haven't used it yet so can't comment but the N95 will be a tough act to follow.

It looks like an iPhone, but its nowhere near as slick. N95 imo is superior.

I've got a sony ericsson W880i and my current contract is due to expire in 4 days. Due to circumstances, I have to remain with vodafone, and currently they have nothing that interests me. I'm waiting for the Sony C905 which has an 8mp camera. Can i wait until the end of Oct for the release though, especially as the W880i keeps turning itself off:angry:

My W880i is now 18 months old and been dropped more than once, hence why it probably keeps giving up on me. Had major problems initially, had the 1st 3 replaced until I got one that actually worked. This ones been good, but now bored with it and can't wait to replace it.

Hope I'm not too disappointed then. :( I will let you know.
Several days in and I am well impressed with the Omnia. Agree it's not that slick but that's no surprise with Windows mobile! Battery life is very good and all the apps seem to work well. Wi-fi is lightning fast and I don't think I will ever tire of the screen orientation change!

Complaints - I have struggled with predictive text (it keeps suggesting Dutch and French words) and the afterthought stylus is annoying (but essential).

So far I would say "better than the N95" but it's early days.
