What is the BEST stadium you have EVER been to?

I think it has to the new and fantastically impressive Melbourne Cricket Ground. Holds 100,000 and it is quicker to get in and get out than withdean

I was in corporate hospitality but Hamburg's stadium is undoubtedly the plushest I've been to - soft-upholstered fabric seating, mountains of pre-match prawns too BIG to fit in any sandwich (even Roy Keane would be impressed by that), very fancy/poncy blue lighting everywhere, and a speedometer to show you how hard the shots were. All that, plus '66 finalist Uwe Seeler holding court backstage, gluehwein brought to your seat etc etc.

The contrast with even the north stand at Withdean didn't exactly go unnoticed.

not a 'stadium' in the modern sense, but still the best arena I've ever watched Brighton and Hove Albion FC perform and win.

for what little its worth you can stick your stadiums up your arse, 10-30 000 people on terraces, standing, singing, and supporting with heartfelt passion was more than enough to tattoo the experience on me for life.

Unfortunately I doubt we'll ever see that kind of football again, and thats a travesty for me.

Agree 100% A 30,000 crowd or a big match under the Goldstone lights. Now THAT was magic!

My favourite stadium experience was the Old Valley. It wasn't raining though.
