with the details of the olympic stadium released today, it looks like yet another great arena will be built on planet earth.

but, in your opinion, what is the best stadium you have ever been to?

pictures would be nice.

for me, it's a close call between old trafford and millenium stadium. i've been to bernabéu, but didn't really do much for me. overall, i think i'll plump for...

Tough call.

Millenium Stadium is brilliantly built - great views and all that, but the old Wembley was pretty special.

Also this place;

^^^^ that's lovely where is it? (The Large One's pic)

If only Falmer could look like that, lovely seductive blue :)

I guess Millenium and The Original Wembley for me :)

The Field of Uck
From the 90's Anfield when we played Liverpool in the FA Cup, followed by Old Trafford (FA & Coca Cola Cups).

More recently, the Millennium Stadium.

The old Wembley was always special for England matches in the 90's.

Abroad, it would have to be the MCG for an England v's Australia match.

Wembley is the best stadium I've been to, but the atmosphere and the area are not great. For atmosphere I would vote for the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. I saw Lazio play there and the noise was phenomenal.
