iD.
Kelly's Heroes.
Star Wars.
The Usual Suspects.
La Cabina.
Nothing deep and meaningful there, just entertainment.
I was in ID and even I think it's absolute rubbish.
Lives of Others for me.

mate all I remember is that Forrest was the all american hero doing his duty for his country whereas his lady friend embraced the liberal counter culture and met a sticky end
seem to remember it getting praise from lots of Republicans at the time for its 'values'
So the whole Bubba getting killed and Sergeant Dan losing his legs and going through hell when he got back completely missed you then?
Kinda of big chunks of the film...
I watched it on my own too, one of those films which when you figure out the ending, makes you question and think about every moment of the film and how it all fits in to place. F*cked me up for a good few days to say the least, and none of my family had seen it so I had no one to talk about it to! A lot of unanswered questions still hanging around, and I watched it about a fortnight ago!
She died of aids.
As I don't think they've been mentioned.

Got to disagree there I'm afraid, incredible special effects yes but the storyline was mind-numbingly shit
