What have you had for lunch ?

John Dorian

Glass Case of EMOTION
Only to cover about a third of them. I like a good dose of vinegar on the fish fingers and the waffles to maintain some crunch.

A tip for this meal is to add a knob of butter and cook the beans for a long time, sometimes up to 20 minutes (nods to keaton who introduced me to this). The texture is far more inviting if you blast the beans really quickly. Just because it's stodge doesn't mean you shouldn't think about it.

Will You be using red sauce as well ? I find it is not essential on a meal such as this and can sometimes ruin the flavour of all the other components...

I only ever use tommie sauce in tiny amounts for this dish as I've already added vinegar and salt which are very prominent in tommie sauce. The sauce that comes with the beans is more than enough on most occasions.

It really depends how saucy I'm feeling. Today? Not very.

I think it was the name that convinced my friends. Like a literal land of Curry.

As I said I'm not a big fan of Indians so a good/bad curry aren't such a difference to me.

Awaits the claims of racist.

Racist :lolol:

fair enough on the name as a land made of curry would be a place worth visiting but the food in that establishment is wrong, very wrong!!
