Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
The relevence being that Stockdale hasn't scored 7 times this season
Nothing ventured nothing gained.... he couldn't do any worse than the current piles of inanimate objects up front.

To get back to the point of the thread, I expect he sometimes says "What's for Dinner tonight, dear?"

This is just a piss take, right? Surely this isn't an attempt at journalism.

From the comment is free section

"To be honest Brightin and Hove news are no better. Either picking up days old stories from other news sources, or if the stories are original, then they are written so sloppily it looks like a competition entry by a primary school child. To cite Tim Hodges especially, as being a "sports reporter", does a great disservice to the profession of journalism. It's like comparing Joey Essex to Sir David Attenborough. They are both "TV stars", on factual shows, after all...."

Oh dear :D (not me I'd like to add!!!!!)

This 'character' is a sad reflection on modern society for two reasons.

1. He actually gets off on all of this abuse. For the love of God, why? It is not successful trolling so why be pleased with your efforts?
2. Sites are willing to put up with atrocious 'journalism' because they know that it acts as click bait and generates small amounts of advertising revenue. They cannot be interested in providing proper news so they put up self obsessed, grammatically and sometimes factually incorrect drivel so a few people will visit their site to mock it.

So very much these.

So its an article about Chris Hughtons thoughts on playing Lewis Dunk up front.....without a SINGLE quote from Chris Hughton. Not a one.

Brilliant.

But they're NOT direct quotes Tim. You need some of these

"-what-chris-actually-said-"

You're just writing your own interpretation of his answers. Through your own filter. That's not journalism.

And why do we get a picture of a door ?
No no no . There are protocols amd embargoes to follow and ways around them.

Eh???? If you're invited to attend a press conference, and you get the opportunity to speak to someone, and obtain a quote, then use it? What "protocols and embargoes" could there be??

Unless of course what you've actually done is use some other press agencies press pass, so therefore being unable to use a direct quote.

Either way, it's very disappointing.
