Yes he is now manager of a firm of estate agents.

He's doing well, he now knows the difference between a house and a flat!

bloody inkfishtelesales in Brighton didnt give me a job and i had to go through 3 hours of unpaid, boring team building crap such as the scenario where you had topick 5 people that you would like to have stuck on a desert island with you. Think i f***ed it up when i suggested only Angelina Jolie, Kat Slater and Nigella Lawson and the poncy twat that was running it heard me saying id pick them "because i wouldnt mind hanging out of either of them". Fair point i thought!

Its all part of the service N.M.H

Thankyou very much for the lecture mr (never done fcuk all wrong)

At least i admit it,I could have stayed qiete and sat back and watch you verbally abuse some1 else,But no I post my reply,That does not make me a scumbag and as you know nothing about the product i was selling or my sales backround i advise you to fcuk off.

Oh dear, obviously I MISREAD YOUR FIRST POST ARSEHOLE because it apparently read unclearly that you are fully cogniscent of screwing people, but "that's life" - and what you meant was "I am not a scumbag it's ok to screw people and be clean of conscience because telephones and victims exist and I didn't invent them I only used them to screw people".

f*** yourself off idiot, because I can figure out exactly what plain English is when I read it, and you admit to f***ing people - and if that is the low level of the bar then no, I have not "done fcuk all wrong" . If I ever messed anyone about I either felt some sort of remorse over and above "that's life".

I wouldn't expect you to see my point, because scumming victims without guilt will have made you unable to relate to being on the level or even facing up to 'screwing people' . What exactly is a pikey again?
It's your sort isn't it byf ?

I used to work as a tele-sales agent in manchester and its bloody hard work, but the commision was quality,It gets so so so boring,250+ cold calls per day and quite hectic to.

But its the bst group of people ive ever worked with,But saying all this i used to blag so many people in to getting the item i was selling and really i was just screwing them,Hey thats life!

Yup, pikeys and people ready to JUST screw other people are part of life I suppose.

Here's my experience of a telemarketer that went my way;

Lad calls and promises me "you already won a tv set for coming to a seminar". I asked if it was ok that I was recording this call, he was hesitant but I told him I needed to get down all the instructions and directions. It was selling timeshares, and I showed up, and sure enough they told me I didn't 'win' the telly, but a trip that I would only have to pay $50 for.
I did call their office and inform them of the 'taped conversation' that I was ready to turn over to the Better Business Bureau. They squirmed, asked for me to send the tape (haha, some chance), and then promised me I could have the tv as long as I drove the 80 miles to pick it up. I said "ok, I'll have a friend in your area collect it", upon which they took 5 weeks to come up with this 'prize' (for which their pamphlets said there were 100 to give away, yet they had problems coming up with 1 !).

I got my tv, and I do not have to feel any guilt about collecting on a promise that they thought was empty. They gave me something worth about 250 quid for my trouble.
Yes folks, we have a WINNER !

I expect they fired the telemarketer kid for allowing that to happen - and I don't care - in fact I am well happy to know that they came across a supposed 'victim' who is TOO FCUKING SMART for scumbag pikeys to screw around with.

That's life - the way I like it.

p.s. There never was any tape, I was bluffing, lying to the professional liars !

:goal: :sheep:

As the old saying goes, it's a shit job, but someone's gotta do it.

At the end of the day you can say no, goodbye and that is that, end of. Then there's the Telephone and Fax Preference Buruae (how the hell do you spell that word?) so you can get protected from cold callers.

After graduating worked for inkfish this summer. While it was mindnumbing and repetitive it gave me sales experience and has just got me what could be a very profitable job as an executive recruiter in London.

Believe it or not sometimes what sales people have to sell is worth buying. Just be polite even if you don't want it

I didnt know about the automated dialers, that explains why I get calls that when I answer there is no-one there. This is even more annoying than answering and having to wait for the person who is calling to actually want to speak to me. YOU PHONED ME, SO SPEAK TO ME WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU.
Does this automated dialer mean that the monkey who phoned me doesnt actually know my number?

All the numbers they want to contact are essentially feed into a piece of software linked to the database and then dialed and the call feed through to the agent. Then if he takes the call your details appear on his screen.

I have the contact details of one of the industry guru's of this stuff if you want to abuse him for all those calls....
