Fair enough. I recalled it being that Perry was appointed very soon after the consortium took over. It's obvious it was around the same time as returning to Brighton.

But I can't see how McAlpine's themselves had any influence in the running of the club, especially as they got so little out of it.

Your assumption about how the show was going to go was unfounded. Which 'previous statements' do you refer to? Questions you wanted asked were asked. You tell me what you wanted from the show, and I'll tell you where you're wrong. What you're really saying is Dick didn't give you the answers you wanted to hear.

I'll withdraw the 'lying' statement aimed at you if you can prove your point about me being a 'club licker' (something you accused me of being, and in itself a most puerile, pathetic phrase, but in the context of what we're on about, I get your drift) without resorting to opinion, innuendo, third-person hearsay or exaggeration. As far as the consortium goes anybody who knows me know the source of wealth and know that it was genuine, I was only a front being a supporter of BHA much the same as DK said he was. The difference being that I was registered as a season ticket holder and known to be a supporter unlike Dick Knight, who the club said at the time was unknown.
