You are kidding surely:lolol:

Legend only in the lickers eyes, some of us are not as gullible:thumbsup:
Without him, there would probably be no BHAFC... and for that, he will always be a legend in my eyes.

Sure, he's f***ed up a few times, made some stupid decisions, but he has the clubs best interests at heart and his determination to (belatedly) deliver a new state of the art stadium to Brighton is nothing short of HEROIC.

Some of you moaning twats don't even know you're born.

All Hail Lord Dick

Why did you bother to listen to the interview when it was put out as a PR exercise to promote DK by his 'lickers'. If he had any balls he would have gone on a program that asked searching questions and not just sucked up to him. Why would the Germans have needed Lord Haw Haw they could have used radio reverb if it had been going to achieve the same results exactly as DK has.

You really are a prize dickhead, Brian.

Come back to me when you know what you're on about, you clueless prat.

I think you will find that Dick has always said re Dean Wilkins sacking - he told the board and they agreed - not a problem the other members of the board were aware of ?? - all Dick Knight wants at the club is YES men - Dean wilkins was trying to do his job and Dick stuck his nose in again - Why can't people just see it for what it really is - Dean didn't do want Dick wanted - nothing to do with man management - Reid Hart and Mayo all had to - Reid and Hart were the players with the big problems - beacuse they weren't being played and rightly so

Ha ha.

That was just my impression of the interview that it was staged managed to allow DK to answer any questions with ease. Obviously nobody is allowed an opinion unless it agrees with you and your adoration of DK.

You can't help yourself can you? Your impression of how the show was going to go was made before it went out.

Your history of fantasy and lies (we had a consortium ready to put £80m in - ha, ha) is well noted. The only thing that was 'stage-managed' was - seeing as you don't have the bollocks to ask him anything at all yourself (last week's pathetic cowardly reply to my challenge to you to do just that, for instance) - I asked it for you.

You've got the spine of a jellyfish.

22 April 1997. Statement from the Football Association about the reconstruction of the Brighton & Hove Albion Board of Directors: Richard Knight is the new Chairman, but Bill Archer remains on the Board with a 49.5% shareholding. David Bellotti is out! The Gillingham ground-share move is to be abandoned and plans for a temporary stadium at the Hove Greyhound track are being seriously explored. Plans for a new 15,000 seater stadium are expected to be announced in 3 months. There will be a £2 million cash injection for new players. (Believe that if you will).

Why?

Look at the takeover in 1997. Perry was employed by Mcapline, as they had the 1% share to Archer's 49.5% and Knights 49.5%. Perry was their representative.

So do show me the revisionist view on the events from back then.

Over to you...

He wasn't McAlpine's representative.

He was brought in to the consortium for his own skills, and what he could bring in terms of getting a new ground. The fact he worked for McAlpine's until the takeover (he then resigned very soon after) was not the issue. McAlpine's themselves had no say in the running or the balance of power of the consortium.

In other words, Perry was in a full time job with someone else until the new Albion regime under DK's consortium could offer him a job themselves.

Sorry, but that is not true. He was still woring for Mcapline for about the 1st 2 years of the new boards tenure. Then due to Mcapline restructuring he ceased working for them and we offered him the job of Chief Exec and Nick Rowe left the club.
