Best Amrican Noir of the Century edited by Otto Penzler & James Ellroy - a mammoth volume but totally engrossing.

Twisting My Melon Man - Shaun Ryder.

Tis ok, Shaun doesn't seem to have even been wrong, which has made it quite difficult to read.
But hey that's his prerogative.

Yeah I'm quite enjoying it, but once it started to grate, it really grated.
On the one hand you've got a self confessed illiterate, drug addled, thief, with no musical knowledge.

But on the other, you have a blameless music genius who whenever challenged on anything was ALWAYS proven right, in the long run.

Went to the IMDb website and appears I'm not the first to think it. Better than the midget they have actually got to play him.

Finished "We Want Falmer" earlier this week - loved it , very moving in places and left a nice little tingle after reading it.

currently reading Steve Jobs biography , although bought Jason Manfords last night so will probably switch between the two.
